Coconut Grove: Great Place to Call Home

I recently came across an article in Florida Travel and Life detailing the origins of the first settled city in Miami-Dade county: Coconut Grove. Although concise, it touched on the main reasons why I love my vintage, quirky village that I call home! The influence of  free spirits and the natural beauty that our location affords us make Coconut Grove a true gem.

The article is a quick read but worthwhile. I particularly like how Heather Bettner, a member of the Coconut Grove Village Council and second-generation local put it.  “Everybody kind of goes in their own direction.” The article’s author, Megan Aquilina, went on to say “And therein lies the disjointed cohesion that has made Coconut Grove a pioneering community from the very beginning.” Well said.
