A few weeks ago I kicked off a series highlighting vintage historic photographs of Coral Gables and Coconut Grove. ”Series” is a generous word given that I’ve only been able to publish one post regarding Coral Gables’ vintage photos. I’ve been so busy that I put this on the backburner – but a client mentioned that she truly enjoyed the vintage feel of the photos and it reminded her that Coral Gables really has roots unlike other newer suburbs that surround us. It got me thinking that Coconut Grove impactful photos also tell a historic tale.
I had to make time to share this with you all. Below are a few of my favorite Coconut Grove vintage photos courtesy of floridamemory.com.
If you want to see the entire collection of these photos click here. If you have any you think I should add, please email me at csmith@veryspecialhomes.com. I’ll be working on different categories for each city including landmarks and transportation.
