There is No Ugly Sister

People often ask me which neighborhood is better, Coral Gables or Coconut Grove?  I can honestly tell them I feel the two neighborhoods are equally beautiful and if they buy the home they love in either neighborhood, they will have made a wonderful purchase.

Late last week, I took am international buyer to see waterfront properties in these sister cities.  The views at both of the homes I showed this Buyer were spectaular but 1872 South Bayshore Lane in Coconut Grove was really impressive.  It had an infinity pool which appeared to spill over into Biscayne Bay.  It was a breathtaking view.

The list price is $6,950,000 by EWM Realty International.

From there, we went to the tony gated enclave of Old Cutler Bay in Coral Gables and looked at a beautiful home at 460 Marquesa Drive listed by Re/Max Advance Realty for $6,500,000.  This home had expansive water views with 3 boat docks and 140’ of water frontage with no bridges to the bay.
