August sales numbers for Coral Gables single family homes are in. You’d think August would see a slowdown as people get the last of summer vacation in and prepare to return to school…but that was not the case. Coral Gables sales figures jumped 13% when comparing August and July homes sales.
A few tidbits that stuck out for me were that of the 38 homes which sold, only 1 was above asking price but more importantly, 30 homes sold at asking or for below 10% off asking price. The gap is continuing to close between list and sales price. That was true for 2 of the 3 homes I sold in Coral Gables in August.
