The Huffington Post is recapping Forbes magazine’s “100 Most Expensive Zip Codes” list based on pricing information for more than 22,000 ZIP codes across the U.S. for June 28 to Sept. 28,2012.
According to the Huffington Post, Forbes magazine’s list of the “100 Most Expensive Zip Codes” in America identified “southern Miami-Dade’s 33156 — home to the entirety of the Village of Pinecrest and parts of Coral Gables and Kendall — ranked as one of the nation’s priciest neighborhoods, leading Miami-Dade communities on the list for the first time at number 15.
The steep bump in south Dade’s housing market can be credited to rebounding home construction and prices, which finally reached pre-recession levels in late summer, reports the South Florida Business Journal.”
