Coral Gables Seeing Red Too

Yesterday I posted about data tools I use to help track market trends and featured a graphic regarding Coconut Grove’s property values increasing. I couldn’t leave out Coral Gables’ similar increase in prices. With the same tool I showcased yesterday, I zoomed in on zip code 33146 – mostly Coral Gables – which resulted in a similar heatmap to Coconut Grove.

Coral Gables, it seems, is seeing red as well. Red in this image – as you might recall from yesterday – illustrates high concentration of increasing property values – some as high as 20%. This is welcomed news for homeowners.

It’s Good to Be In The Red

Rarely do you hear that being in the red is a positive thing. But…in this case it is. Below find a Heatmap which shows that areas depicted in red have witnessed double-digit property value increases in Coconut Grove in the last 12 months.

Coconut Grove Real Estate Prices Increasing

I was recently introduced to this data tool which graphically depicts different trends in real estate figures. I use this tool in combination with a number of other statistical references to better inform myself and my clients on market trends in the Coral Gables and Coconut Grove real estate sectors.

Things are changing so rapidly that I find that, along with social networking, website design and master negotiating skills, I must also continue to hone my analytical talents. Resources such as this help particularly with clients who prefer to dicuss numbers and data in a graphical format. Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing a number of graphical reports with you to crystallize the change in our markets.
